  • At what age do you start letting the db cry it out, even just a little, mine often cries cause she has to bump or spit up, she is 8 weeks

    • if you ignore a child's cries at that age, you will teach her that the only tool she has to get your attention is ineffective. You MUST respond to your 8 week-old's cries. Burping and spitting up is big business at that age.

    • CIO is strictly for sleep. Otherwise you comfort. If you set up sleep right, you won't have to do much CIO at all. Read Weissbluth.
