  • wow, I got flamed earlier for driving a gas guzzler. I drive a Volvo wagon, I guess it doesn't get as good mileage as a Prius, but I can't fit my two young dcs plus my older ss in something like that. it's like being on the old UB again.

    • they'd die if they saw all the escalades and tahoes around my neighborhood -- but so many people have 4 and 5 kids that it's hard to have anything smaller, i guess a minivan maybe...

      • exactly - a minivan or a wagon would get better gas mileage and still these people wrinkle their noses at them. i don't care what people drive, really but i hate the excuse that they HAVE to drive a massive SUV. plenty of minivans carry 8 passengers and get much better mileage

    • curious - what is your mpg? i drive a minivan that gets 22 mpg and it's killing me. with 4 kids, i don't know that i have any better options
