I went to the ob today. I think I am 8 wks pg. They did an u/s and could not find a heartbeat. They did find the yolk sac. They ordered blood work to see what my levels are. I am assuming this will end with a d&c or mc. Anyone btdt and had a positive exp? Like it was just too soon, etc. They can't get my bloodwork back until tomorrow - I know that will give the most accurate picture.

[ Reply | Options ]I think you might get viewpoints for and against. For me, it allowed me to maintain a little sliver of hope (though I knew deep down it was going to happen). TMI, so don't read if you don't want more info, but I ended up mc at 11 wks. Had pretty bad cramps one night and passed sac the next morning. I took the material to OB right away and she made sure there was nothing left there. GL.

sometimes we get the date of ovulation wrong. wasn't the case for me, but very common. gl.
[ Reply | Options ]it's possible that your dates are off and it's just too early. It hasn't happened to me but a couple of friends had that experience. GL

that happened to me twice and it turned out that i probably ovulated later than they thought so there was just no heartbeat yet. good luck and hang in there!

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
