3 y/o ds has been having awful tantrums lately. when he doesn't get his way or this morning when he had to wait to get something, he cries, kicks, throws things. any advice on how to address/respond. i've been telling him that i won't talk to him until he's calmed down and if he's going to scream he has to go to his room. he did so this am where he calmed down. anything else?
