anyone been to mystic connecticut? looking to do a weekend summer trip, need recs for activities (besdies teh aquarium!) and a good placeto stay. will have three kids under four, and a dh who likes kid stuff just as much as teh 3 yo.

- Well there's the Mystic Seaport, but that's more for older kids/adults. Kind of a Sturbridge Village Period piece kind of thing.

- we're going this weekend. no clue what else is there other than the aquarium. I'm booked for a manicure and massage on Sunday am though (mother's day/anniversary gift from dh) at the red door spa at the Marriott, which is where we're staying.

- I took a 2 yo and a newborn and we spent all our time on the beach, and then went in town for dinner. It was a nice day trip (live in MA)

i'm coming from boston though - how far is it?
