This is silly, but I'm a WOHM and I felt so sad yesterday. It was 2.5 yo DD's last day of preschool and we got a huge binder of her artwork and pictures of her doing activities. I just felt sad that I missed being with her - sort of like she'll never be this age again. Oh, and my pregnancy hormones are raging with #2 :)

why did you miss it? i am a wohm and i am very involved in ds's school and daily life. and i am single.
[ Reply | Options ]aww, you didn't miss it. you know it's your hormones. i think we feel that way at any age. my mom sah for her WHOLE life and still cries over how old i am sometimes. :)
[ Reply | Options ]sahm of two toddlers here, my older is 2.5 now and she's not gone to school...i have a binder of artwork too......i look at her just now, and am sad because she will never be this age again, and i seem to remember so little of the last couple of years...i guess that's motherhood for ya....gl!

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
