Did you read the NYT article about the Similac Organic? Did anyone read the comments ppl posted? They made me SO angry. There were such militant bfding ppl posting that we should only bfd our kids and formula should only be allowed by prescription, etc. I am pro-choice (as I'm assuming many of these militant bfders are) and I don't understand why choice doesn't extend after birth. I nursed my dd for a year, she never had formula and never even had a bottle of breast milk. Terrific, I was a sahm of one kid...this worked for me. With #2 I've been giving him a bottle of formula a day since he was born. I'm nursing him at 10mos, but he has been biting me like crazy for weeks and he is SO distracted that he will only nurse in a dark room w/no distractions...not easy w/a crazy 3y/o running around. I also have a sitter now so I can go to the gym, etc. so on that day he gets extra formula. This works for me. I can't stand that women are SO judgemental of each other when we're all just trying to do our best. Sorry, I just had to vent, the posts made me so angry...oh, and I have no idea what to do about the Similac Organic...do I switch now at 10 mos???

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
