  • Ridgewood, NJ moms. I've been told that the Ridge school district is "exclusive" and I can't seem to get anyone to tell me what that really means/ Anyone on who can enlighten me? Is it code for Racist? Anti-semitic? If you make less than $500K no one will speak to you? Thanks!

        • You can live there if you are Jewish and open minded and aren't hypersensitive about prefering to be with people who grew up very much like yourself. Know several happy J. families there.

    • it's just that the neighborhoods in that school district have nice houses in them- some of the more expensive neighborhoods. I wouldn't use the word "exclusive" since it's a public school. but it's in a nice area. overall, ridgewood tends to be more christian than jewish, fwiw. it's not exactly the epicenter of diversity.
