  • 3 yo woke up with rash on one cheek - looks like 6 or so mosquito bites. has had a cold. what could this be?

                • huh - weird. my dr seemed to think it was part of the normal course of it and i've literally seen 10 kids this week with it and they all had little dots on their cheeks. maybe it has different strains?

    • Has he/she had a fever? Viruses like fifth's Disease, Roseola, Coxsackie usually consist of rashes that develop after the fever breaks.

    • My dd just got over Intero Virus. You can have fever for a few days in severe cases. She did not, she was just grumpy. The fever is followed by a red dot, raised rash that goes away in 2-3 days. Once the rash appears, you are at the end and she is not contagious anymore.
