  • what do you think of this apartment? Can't tell if it is a good value,or not so much. Location is good. http://nycapartments.com/property/listing.aspx?ListingID=1259164&Region=NYC

      • I don't know! It looks like they only partially renovated the kitchen...the appliances look old. They don't show or even mention a renovated bath. I've seen newly renovated 2 bedroom/1 bath apartments, same sq footage in my neighborhood (GV) for less than that. Go see it in person.

    • everything looks so small. They do not even have a pic of the bathroom and it looks like they are using a weird lens to make things look larger in the pics

    • I think it looks very, very interesting. it's a thousand square feet, but no wasted space in corridors etc.

    • It's in nice shape, but it's very small. You can tell from the shots that they're trying to expand the size of the room & have made them look larger than they really are. Also, I think the asking price is high considering it's only 1 bathroom, and not much square footage.

    • The asking price is high (for the size and the 1 bath and the unrenovated kitchen) -- but the location is good, it's a doorman building, there is a W/D in the apt., appears to be in move-in condition. Don't know about the market these days -- think it might have sold for this much a year ago, but probably not now.
