    • You could consider an intervention or talking to child services and seeing if her mom can get temporary custody of her dd. I would do a study of interventionists and make an informed decision. We had an intervention for my mom and in hindsight I don't think it needed to be as aggressive as it was.

        • We had one and with last minute travel expenses it was about $10,000. I'm glad we did it but I'm not convinced it's the only way. Does she have a sponsor? What are the policies of the place she went to rehab before? Does her mom have any contacts there?

            • I can see how that's a problem. What about getting temporary custody of the 9mo and seeing if the court will try to get her to work a program? The truth is you can't make someone get treatment, but you can protect her dauther.
