My 6 month old gets really scared when my husband sneezes. Granted, they're loud, but somehow they startle her more than any other sound. She doesn't cry when the dog barks suddenly, but she'll cry when he sneezes -- even when she is facing him and knows where the sound is coming from. Does this happen to anyone else? Suggestions for making sneezing less scary (besides asking dh to sneeze more softly)?

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
