i was like you, felt so so terrible and it lasted to 16.5 weeks, on the dot. same for my sister. then i woke up one morning feeling fine again, and that was a great day. the only comfort i can offer you is they say it's a sign of a healthy pregnancy- tons of hormones are what cause it, and genetics (just to be clear i'm not saying lack of morning sickness means unhealthy preg). also, i have heard ginger & grapefruits help. i was fond of watermelon and artichokes during mine. i went to see the Gates in central park when i had morning sickness and now even a photo of those orange gate things makes my stomach turn.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
