any tips on explaining a gay relationship to dc? so far all i have is "your friend has two mommys because they love each other very much and any one who loves each other can be together and be a family." anything else. i'm so clueless.

  - We were always careful to include "some have one mommy and one daddy" in the list of possible family types. We didn't want to give the impression that that's the standard and everything else is a variation.
