  • Anyone on whose dd was in diapers at night pretty long (5+ years)? DD is still soaking wet every morning, but today she announced that she wants to wear underwear to bed. I'm willing to give it a try since it's her idea (we've talked about it/suggested it in the past but she "wasn't ready"). I'm anticipating dealing with accidents...wondering if her feeling all wet will help her motivate to get up and use the bathroom.

      • Did she just start having drier diapers at night? or was it more of a conscious decision (by her OR you) to stop the diapers?

      • np: wow, I feel better :) my 4 yo still wants one at night and usually wakes wet (she sometimes gets out of bed during the night to pee in the potty, but it's unreliable)

    • DH peed in his underwear until he was 5, according to him. He said he was just "too lazy" to bother getting up at night. No idea how my IL's dealt with him. Finally, he decided on his own to get out of bed and go to the bathroom when he needed to.
