Are there therapists who see patients in the a.m.? I want to start seeing someone, but need to go in the morning, while kids are in school. Also, if I need to go on antidepressants or the like, a regular therapist can't prescribe them, can they? How does that work? And finally, any suggestions for someone who could work with a controlling mom who is getting increasingly irritable with children and spouse, but really wants to change my behavior? TIA.

How do I know if cognitive therapy is appropriate for me (it sounds right i.e. I am not so interested in rehashing my emotional background as I think I know why I am the way I am, but I need help in finding new ways of addressing stressors in my life). And where is it? Thanks

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
