  • My friend is as single mom (her dh died 3yrs ago) and she's got 3 kids and has been just getting buried by life lately. She lives in the mid west. She's got a four day weekend coming up ...do you think she'd prefer that I fly out there and take care of kids and clean house and let her go out w/ (other friends), go to the gym, catch up on daily tasks...or, send her a ticket to come out here for four days and arrange for her mom to take the kids? I'll ask her...but just wondering what you think?

      • i'd want a combination of both. assuming her kids are old enough, why not take her kids for the weekend and give her some time to put her house in order or relax? or send her kids to her mom and then go visit her as well. i think her traveling to you will end up tiring her out more, but i also think getting the kids off her hands for a day or two will be fantastic to her.

    • Probably a lot easier for you to go there. That is really nice of you.
