  • What is the difference btw. living off a trust fund set up by your parents and getting a monthly supplement from your parents? I envy these people. They are lucky.

    • i only envy them if their parents dont hold it over their heads. i have two friends who get monthly help, but parents are always meddling in their lives and acting entitled, bossy, judgmental.

    • Trust fund suggests you have the downpayment for an apartment on hand. Monthly supplement means they cover the rent but you don't own.
