Mom with freaked-out cat from shelter here (I posted a lot about this last week). Just wanted to report that the cat has come out of hiding (although she still spokks easily at noises, sudden movements, etc)...and she is the cutest thing EVER. She makes these tiny little chirping noises when she's curious or wants to be petted or feed, and she loves to sit in my lap, purrs up a storm, etc. I'm alone in the house all day with a 6-month-old, so it's nice to have some company.
