  • dd just smacked her toe hard and the toenail is cracked (near the cuticle, not part I can cut off). Any recommendations? Should I call the ped?

    • is the actual TOE in pain? how hard? you may want to just to see how to take care of it until it grows in. but watch out for actual FOOT pain if she hit it super hard

      • OP: I thought it was just the toenail bed that was in pain but she just said it also hurt "under her toe". I don't know how hard as dh was with her.

    • I would call. I had to have my toenail removed by a dr when I was 10 bc I pulled it away from the nail bed. Can't hurt to have it looked at.
