So sad. There is this woman in my building and last year she was pg and seemed so nice and friendly and wanted to be friends. When her baby was born, she dropped off the face of the earth and stopped being as nice. I finally saw the baby (it's been almost a year) and I realized that something was wrong with her. I am so upset and it explains why she always seemed sort of sad afterwards. It really makes me sad, esp now that I am pg.

[ Reply | Options ]i think it's both. the baby didn't move at all and was very quiet. the stroller was reclined (it always is whenever i see her walking with the baby) and most babies almost a year old can sit up. i don't think she can.
[ Reply | Options ]oy. it's so hard to connect with someone without prying yet you want to know, to offer support, etc. it must be brutal....
[ Reply | Options ]well she invited me over to her apt next week. i'm not sure if she's really going to do it or not. her DD and my DD are not hte same age but they had a lot of fun playing outside together. i know there's nothing i can say or do but it is really sad. and i feel bad because i was wondering why she didn't want to hang out or anything. It must be SO hard for her and I know she has no family and friends here.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
