  • Anybody else have a baby who gets mad and does the angry cry frequently? My ds is 20 mos and does this once a day or so. It's frustrating bc I have no idea what he wants and he is obviously frustrated.

    • gosh. i would love it to only be once a day. we get the mad/angry cry hourly some days. its hard to be a toddler.

      • what do you do for a crying baby after you've tried all the ususal stuff? food, milk, toys, change of scenery, holding, patting, singing...

    • Does he have any words? Try teaching him some signs (more, eat, change, toy, drink, milk, etc.) - it can help ease the frustration.

        • no, they tend not to use them when melting. i think you just hold them and say 'mama loves you' i know you are sad. i do lots of choices (even though he dosen't get it). like, i'll say. do you need some time yourself right now. and then walk away for a moment or two. sometimes he actually calms down

          • he will push me away if I try to hold him...it's like he becomes another kid...it makes me so sad and I feel like a bad mom when I just leave him be. Ready for this stage to be OVER!
