It seems as though I get pregnant every try. The downside is that I miscarry easily & have frequent chemical pregnancies. Its as though any old thing will implant in there. I've been pg 7 times, all on the first try, once by accident on the pill. This year I've been pg every single cycle- I haven't had a regular period since Dec. 2007 (chem pg, m/c, chem pg, now pg again). Its weird. Anyone else like this, or do you know of anyone like this? I feel like a freak of nature. I am genuinley curious if this is common- to easily get pg but also have frequent chem pgs.

I did, my doctor was an ass and seemed to think I'm just crazy. So I went to an RE for testing. He had no answers either. I'm fine. And a chem pregnancy, unlike a m/c, doesn't require a break. I have a friend who gets pg all the time too, though- so I am also asking for her. She got pg from sex 6 days before ovulation. She has 3 kids and has had 6 m/cs. Gets pg every time, too.

The chemical pregnancy part is probably more common than you realize. Most women don't test as early as we do and never even knew they were pregnant. But your situation does sound kind of extreme. Have you spoken to your OB or an RE? I know of several women who worked with REs b/c of recurrent m/c. GL.
[ Reply | Options ]OP here, and I agree. I guess my question is: How common is it? One thing I've done is stopped with the super early testers. Last time I got a + on a super-sensitive test, that probably wouldn't have even registered on a regular test. This time around I bought a crappy, non-super-sensitive test, and it was positive.

Can't tell which posts are yours -- have you been to an RE? It took me several years to have #1, then was charting with OPKs for 2 years trying for number two before finally going, and then I felt like an idiot ... turns out I am not a good egg grower on my own -- took clomid and progesterone, got pg on 2nd cycle. Not saying that's your issue, but maybe there is a relatively simple "fix"?
[ Reply | Options ]I did. Seems like, with minimal testing, everything is fine. I am healthy, active, and have had 2 full-term easy pregnancies. My son is 2. It just seems like I get pg every time. No matter what. But also I have chemical pregnancies often, which, as noted by an above poster, I wouldn't even know if I wasn't using super-sensitive tests. First chem pg lasted 1 day (pd came on time, but I had 2 positive tests), before that it was 3 days late (5 positive tests cause I was crazy after the m/c).

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
