MOVING from uptown to downtown....should i buy extra moving insurance? did you? tell me your moving horror stories so I can beware. TIA

np: I used Flatrate and the movers were fine. The packers seemed fine until we unpacked a found some broken teapots that had been poorly packed and also a trash can still filled with dirty tissues. Regret tipping the packers so much.
[ Reply | Options ]my sister's movers stole her engagement ring. she had taken it off to wash her hands, left it on the sink for about 15 minutes and it was gone. They denied it. We called the cops, they couldn't search them so nothing happened to them. Luckily it was insured.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
