i got a c- in a class (grad school). there was a final project worth 40%, homework worth 20%, and a test worth 40%. I got a 95 on the test, a b+ on the project, and i assume i did fine on the homework. i hate having to talk to teachers about grades, but, it seems really wrong

- talk to your teacher. I once had an incorrect mark and it got fixed.

- I teach grad school courses--talk to your prof. We can be very reasonable. Looking at your grade, something doesn't compute. Did you fail your hw assignments?

  - there were just 3 and, I guess i can dig them up, but I thought I did fine. i would have noticed if they were low scores. even if I failed them all though, I'd still be in the b range. i'll talk to him, i just hate having to feel like a grade monger

    - np -- You're not a grade monger in this case. A c- minus in grad school -- at least in the liberal arts -- is a pretty shocking grade.

    - grade monger? you are paying for it and its your gpa, rep, etc. you know that there is an error. nobody gives a c- in grad school. just email prof about it.

- talk to your teacher. just send a quick email saying that you are surprised with your grade. its a mistake. and if its not, they will most likely change your grade.

I teach grad school courses--talk to your prof. We can be very reasonable. Looking at your grade, something doesn't compute. Did you fail your hw assignments?
