  • i got a c- in a class (grad school). there was a final project worth 40%, homework worth 20%, and a test worth 40%. I got a 95 on the test, a b+ on the project, and i assume i did fine on the homework. i hate having to talk to teachers about grades, but, it seems really wrong

    • I teach grad school courses--talk to your prof. We can be very reasonable. Looking at your grade, something doesn't compute. Did you fail your hw assignments?

    • you should absolutely talk to the professor! what you're saying sounds mathematically impossible

    • talk to your teacher. just send a quick email saying that you are surprised with your grade. its a mistake. and if its not, they will most likely change your grade.
