  • My parents seem to live in a dream world, my dad was the most impatient man on earth and there was always yelling in my house growing up, my mom seems to not remember any of this (I jokingly suggested my attitude was inherited and got a defensive remark)

    • same here-both my parents were very impatient (and hence I get frustrated very easily. Put me near a malfunctioning technical object and I can lose it within seconds) and lots of screaming

    • My mom has this memory of her marriage being dream-perfect until recently. It was NOT perfect at all, esp. when I was in high school/college and she was still SAHM and my dad wanted her back at work
