yeah. hahahaha. elevated cancer risks make me lmao too!! hahaha. http://www.diaperpin.com/clothdiapers/article_toxictampons.asp
[ Reply | Options ]I think most of us have probably read about chlorine bleach being unnecessary and a potential source of concern, and for that reason some manufacturers have indeed been changing their practices. However, you do realize that what you posted is not the res results of a STUDY, nor does it quote information gleaned from a study. It's theorizing. Science is important, but as an educated consumer, you should know how to read it.
[ Reply | Options ]the FDA is the best source on this, you can dig up their findings if you want. I can read a study. Again, you told me that I was wrong without offering and proof just YOUR opinion, so, learn to argue
[ Reply | Options ]I don't have to argue. You made the initial statement, so the burden of proof is on you, and so far you've produced two links that if anything weaken your case. And you actually can't read a study, because there has been no large-scale reliable study decades. So we must rely on anecdotal evidence and personal observation which OVERWHELMINGLY leads to the conclusion that whatever small risk may exist in tampon use is not enough to discontinue use if you wish to use them.

if you have some science to back up this statement, I'd be very happy to look through it. Otherwise, you're asking me to "trust ub" too.
[ Reply | Options ]i don't care what you do, but I'd advice you to google or something...dont trust ub

this is totally normal for me for day 3. The only thing that sounds at all concerning is not amounts or lengths of time, but the fact that this sounds like it's different than the norm for you, which may just be b/c your body is changing b/c you're get getting older. Things that differ from your personal norm are worth keeping an eye on. Having to change a pad every 4 hours is not so strange.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
