Please. I feel terrible that my 3 yo witnessed this horrible fight bw dh and me. It had been a long time since we fought and the other night he told me, "You and Daddy used to fight and scream all the time. But you don't fight anymore" and I almost d. I had vowed NEVER to let myself get out of control and fight again. I was trying to avoid this. And it was one of the worst fights we have ever had. Dh was shoving me practically to the floor trying to stop me from leaving. He also ripped my shirt when I tried to leave to go down the stairs and he grabbed my arm to try to stop me. My 3 yo saw all of this.

as someone who lived with parents who did this "routine" often, i beg you to figure out some way to fight "healthier"
[ Reply | Options ]what do you want ub to say? you and dh should feel terrible that kid witnessed this. 3 yo not traumatized for life, if both of you stop it now, carry on w/therapy, and figure out some less dramatic way to communicate. 3 yo soundseems like maturest person

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
