I am having surgery next week to fix an eye problem and am excited and scared. Two hour surgery and a chance it could be complicated if I vomit, and I always do with anesthesia.

I told an anesthesiologist I was very sensitve, and he said "thanks for letting me know, I can adjust it for you". And it was no problem. GL.
[ Reply | Options ]Thanks. I have done that every time. I have had 5 (!! I didn't realize until I counted them recently) surgeries, including my c-section. Every time I tell them my problem and am sure this different anesthesia and anti-emetic combo will work, but no. know I just have to let it go. It just scares me a bit.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
