ok, so with my pregnant nanny, I was thinking I could give her a couple months off when the baby's born--probably can't pay her for most of it, though, and then she could bring the baby. is that crazy?

I think it totally depends on the situation. I know someone who is a nanny and has always brought her ds with her - he is now 4 and it has always worked out well. How old are your dcs?

will she need to leave the house a lot to drop off and pick up for kindergarten and preschool (assuming the 3 yr old will be in preschool)? That might be an issue if it interferes with her db's nap schedule. Have you talked to your nanny yet? Do you kno if she even plans to go back to work for you?

Are you trying to be funny? Because your not. You sound like an evil witch. Why would you even post something like this? Your nanny deserves a six week leave just like anyone else and paid of course if you can afford it and really want to keep her. You sound like a real jerk. If you can afford a Nany then she deserves all the "work rights" that you do. BC obviously you work RIGHT????

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
