Can't stop crying...I'm 10wks pregnant (on purpose) with #2 and so depressed. It's hard enough with one (ds, 5yo)-the endless needs, the difficulty managing even a dead end job. I'm sooo afraid I won't have enough to give. I don't know if I can do i

- It's OK. First, I assume ds is in school, right? So please look forward to a wonderfully fun maternity leave. I really enjoyed being home with just the baby now that I actually knew what I was doing and if you honestly really hate your job or don't get maternity leave, then just quit. Life is too short to send yourself into an early grave over money. I think you will truly be shocked at how much you will LOVE #2.

  - Pros and cons. 2 under 2 is so hard. But it's also hard to go back after you've sort of become free. No more drop offs at grandmas (2 kids is too hard) so no more weekends off. Etc.

    - Stop ladies! Just stop your ridiculous pity party. You will be the first ones posting back saying how much you love #2 or #3 and never thought life could be this good. My #3 is a great joy to me, just please relax and let life take u 2 unexpected places?

- Totally normal. I felt pretty depressed throughout most of my pregnancy with #2--very sick, didn't know how I'd ever love #2 as much as #1--and now--I know it sounds trite--but I can't even imagine life without #2. Appreciate her so much more than I di 1

    - i think it's from girlfriend's guide to pregnancy, but the point is that the rise in progesterone in the first trimester can make you nuts.
