i had bloodwork done and found out that i have herpes...here is the thing i dont remember ever being tested for this before and i haven't been with anyone but dh since 2000. i am wondering if he is cheating on me? we were seperated and now trying to wo k things out and i dont know if can trust him now.

  - not that i recall...i remember having really bad painful sores in my mouth when i was 17 but was never told it was herpes..i have also had thrush on and off for about 15 years now (told it is from asthma meds i take). I was curious to see if I contracted anything from dh.

    - your doc should have told you that if the test is positive, it doesn't at all mean that you got it from dh. huge % of population has the virus but doesn't have outbreaks...

        i may be exaggerating but not by much. while HSV 1 can cause genital herpes, it mostly causes oral herpes (cold sores)

        and most of the population is exposed, only a certain percentage get the coldsores. honestly -- your grandpa could have given you this when he kissed you when he visited you in the hospital as a newborn.

        no. you have thrush from not properly rinsing your mouth after using your inhaler.

        i am HIV negative (thank the Lord) and i have had this thrush for 15 years now...looks so gross but the doctor's say it is geographic tongue or something... i dont know what it is but it is painful as hell sometimes..

- i was a virgin until 21 and then got genital warts from my boyfriend of 2yrs. he was cheating. could not believe it but they are called std's becasue of how you get them, sorry
