For birth announcement for db #2, is it appropriate to use a photo of db #1 holding the newborn?

      - I HATE when I get ann. w/ #1 annoucing #2. It seems too much like parents feel guilty about taking something away from #1. Do what you did with #1.

        really? but i want to get announcements this time and think it would be sweet to include #1. was too lazy last time, but over the years have gotten more into nice cards.

    - np: I was recently looking at pictures of me when I was a baby and who was in every single picture? My older brother. I think #2 should have his/her time in the spotlight alone.

- Sure, of course! ITD with the "#2 getting his own spotlight" stuff... It's not like you won't have any pics of #2 solo, but its just how life is, he's joining a family, not the first baby.

no, that's just...WRONG

why? that's what i want to do too. i want it to say that dc#1 announces birth of #2...

^^ never did announcements for #1 either, just emailed photos to friends.
