  • reasons why there is so much uproar among parents over this g&t process is that doe did an awful job clearly informing the parents how the test will be administered. we were all kept in the dark about the actual testing process. some kids were told to take their time, some kids were rushed, some kids were told to skip. some kids were told to mark their own answers, etc....they need to be consistant and follow exact guidelines.

    • This is true for ALL standardized tests, ERB, SB, OLSAT, SAT, PSAT etc. All kids, public and private, are subjected to such subjective testing environments, and we parents and the schools are now forced to focus our efforts on developing test-taking ski skills. SUCKS!

    • ITA Other tests are administered by trained test professionals My dd was give it by another PreK teacher in her school. This inconsistency in admin. of test could totally of skewed scores. I am convinced my daughter just didn't do whole sections. DOE won't say if will let me see yet.

      • they decide who gets to see and who don't? that's bs. if they have nothing to hide, they should reveal to all.
