  • i have this new juicer that supposedly makes "ice cream" just by throwing in frozen fruit. we were like: yeah right! we tried it tonight and it was amazing. i threw in nothing but frozen fruit.

      • it's a juicer called "champion." it has a blank screen that you put in and then throw in frozen fruit. i froze bananas and put in a bag of mixed berries. you could NOT tell there was no cream in it.

    • I do that with my ice cream maker. Throw in frozen berries and a spoonful of sugar and wait 15 mins and it's "homemade" sorbet

      • oh gosh no. it was a couple hundred dollars on sale and i actually juice veggies and fruit for the kids and myself every day. i figured since i juice so frequently, i would splurge and buy a nicer juicer.

        • there was this crazy annoying man at Costco the other day pitching some insanely expensive blender/juicer/ice cream maker thing. It did so much I was waiting for Santa to pop out. He actually said it would pevent cancer!

          • i think that you're thinking of the vitamix. it's a blender that costs over 400 dollars!!! i'm a hard-core foodie and have been coveting that thing for years but of course will never be able to afford it. i think it does make a good ice cream! hilariou about the cancer part!
