    • You just need to wait until the DOE announces how it will test for G&T admission. They have used the OLSAT 2 yrs in a row, but this year's scores seem generally higher than last year's, so they might not use it again

    • I got the KTSS packet and started way ahead of the test. Did a little a night, got a great sense of what she was fine with and what she didn't understand, and then taught her the concepts she didn't understand

    • Did the DOE's practice test twice. I didn't want to "prep" too much for fear it would create anxiety around the actual test. dc got 97.

    • I really don?t think it is necessary to buy a test prep just expose dc to a variety of thing such as puzzles, blocks, arts and science and they will do fine. My dc scored 34/40 (last year) and only did the practice test once. Most importantly make it fun and do everything possible to insure dc well rested and in a good mood on the test date.

    • This summer I would do some fun workbooks with your DC on rainy days. bank street books has really great ones. Just to introduce the idea of problem solving on paper. Most kids love it.
