  • ivf mom feeling super sorry for myself, anyone feel like hearing me whine? :-)

    • Weird, I just read my IVF Diary from five years ago and I was doing the same thing - whining and feeling sorry for myself (rightly so) and now I have 4 yo triplets - hang in there!

        • 3 years. have failed IVF 4 times. I'm generally miserable all the time. So, if you need a commiserator, I'm all yours!

    • op: thank you everyone who replied. i am so out of it after retrieval that i forgot to come back and check! i should start by saying that i have one ds from ivf #1 and feel blessed and lucky. doing ivf b/c of male factor b/c dh had chemo, so the self-pity starts there. did ivf #2 in the fall and got pg but had m/c. am doing #3 now and just really worried it won't work, feeling old ... all irrational but rational at the same time.

      • btdt. have 2 beautiful dc from 2 successful ivfs out of 5. i know how hard it is - but these struggles rt now are so worth it. (& at least you have your1 dc on the off chance it doesn't happen - but i think it will!)

        • op: thank you... i do know it will happen. but i realllllly don't want to go through this again. i want to go on w/ my life and leave dh's cancer (he's almost at his 5 yr mark) and everything associated w/ it behind us and just enjoy our family!
