      • but that's so ridiculously arbitrary. I've never known a single db who started sleeping more just because they hit 12 lbs.

      • Someone told me 10 pounds when I had #1, so when ds hit the 10 lb mark, I figured he's sleep through. No such luck. None of my kids were ever good sleepers until past 10 months.

      • at 13 lbs, a baby is metabolically able to go an 8-hour stretch without eating. that doesn't necessarily mean a 13 baby will do it or will sleep through the night.
