  • Moms who were able to nurse lying down from day 1: How do you hold breast to help db latch on? I can't seem to do it properly. --or can you suggest a resource I could go to to learn how? TIA

    • try lying the baby on a pillow or putting your arm underneath him to raise him up higher - I actually found it was hard to do when my baby was very tiny - it was better when she was bigger and her head was bigger

    • put a pillow next to you w/ baby on top positioned to nurse from the higher breast. so if you are lying on your left side, baby would be nursing at right breast
