BF Question: At what point in the day do you pump? I just started to pump in order for DH to give bottle of breastmilk at night. Does anyone else do this? Any suggestions?

    - I would wait a little bit longer if you can. by 5 weeks your supply is fully established. if you skip a feeding now, it may hurt your supply

      - SInce I'm doing an extra pump 'feeding' in the AM I'm not necessarily skipping a feeding am I?

- usually i feed from the same side twice in a row and after the second feeding i pump the opposite side.

- i do this, try to pump in am but often fall asleep with db. we often add formula to the bm b/c db will take up to 6 oz

- 1 hr after the first feeding of the day, but unless your supply is really established already i would wake for the night feedings
