  • i have thin, wavy hair cut in a bob. i use a flat iron. the hairspray i used (very light, anti-humidity, added shine) has been discontinued. any recs?

    • if what you're looking for is just something to add shine and help protect against humidity, I'd forgo hairspray and use a blowdry gel or cream, or if you air-dry, a leave-in product when it's still wet. Something w/ silicone will help w/ the shine.

      • sounds heavy and goopy... my hair looks greasy after 24 hours, but if i use the right products i can stretch it another day

        • it's not at all if you use the right amounts of the right products. If you're worried about this, use something that's a little more liquid than cream. And don't use anything as heavy as a pomade.

            • I find that Infusium leave-in conditioner (which is very watery, not like a conditioner you use in the shower) is good for increasing shine & softness. John Frieda frizz-ease has a good serum. I used to love this REdken blow-dry cream, but I don't thin they make it anymore.
