why do they schedule mommy and me classes so early in the am? I can barely get out of the house with my 3 month old by noon

  - np: I took classes with my 3 mos. It's a great way to meet other moms, and DS really enjoyed it

    - i'll give you it's "Good for moms". but do NOT delude yourself that at 3months old, your baby "enjoyed it".

      - well he was always were happy and smiley during, and took a 2 hour nap after, so for me it was a great investment. Plus I made a few friends.

      - that's fine - but I so don't get this attitude around here - why wouldn't a 3 month old like to be with his mommy in an interactive class???

        i agree. there are fun games, most sensory stuff, lots of colors and objects, songs you learn. it's fun for both. Does a 3 mos or even a 9 mos need a class, absoltely not, but they defiately enjoy it.

        i've got 3 dcs, just can't be bothered to waste the $ on a baby class when I know you can achieve the same results at home.

        so don't go. I enjoyed it becuase it was an hour 2x a week where it was just me and him and I wasn't distracted with other dcs, or errands or chores. When at home I rarely sit on the floor and pay undivided attention playing and singing to DB for an str ght hour.

np: I took classes with my 3 mos. It's a great way to meet other moms, and DS really enjoyed it
