I envy people who have a good relationship with their mother. Ours has always been hellish.

[ Reply | Options ]I almost feel like there's something the matter with me, people are like, "My mother is so wonderful, one of these days you will learn to appreciate your mom and everything will be great" but for us it's not true.
[ Reply | Options ]no, don't ever think that. it's not you at all. we had lots of things happen when we were younger, very dysfunction family and both of my parents were at fault. i can get beyond the past, but only if she steps up now. unfortunately, all she continues to do is dissappoint. it just gets to a point where you KNOW it's not you.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
