just realized my due date is Dec. 23 - anyone here have a Christmas/holiday birthday and can tell me it's not horrible?

i don't know about that, but it sucked more when i was little - no party ever, tried the 1/2 party in the summer but felt weird. was better as i got older, could get my parents to combine xmas/bday for bigger gifts - trip it europe for example one of the biggest bummers is all the excitment for the year is in 2 days and then i'm done for the year. worst bday ever! although my mom had c-section and could have had me the 25th but didn't

my Dd was due on the 25th but born on the 23rd. more She's 5 and it's not horrible at all. She loves the idea of presents all in a row. We usually have her kids party the first week in January so all the friends have the holidays out of their system.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
