Just found out I'm having a 2nd boy. I'm definitely not have more than two but I feel so sad I won't have a daughter. Will I get over this?

qn for all the moms who still are upset about not having a girl - what exactly makes you upset? is it some perceived mom/daughter bond you think you would have? what exactly is it? i feel like i hear so many moms wanting girls but i am get why

I guess I'm afraid my boys won't share their feelings with me or will marry daughters-in-law who want to move or won't let me see the grandchildren and no wedding dress shopping or watching cheesy chick flicks I so enjoy or being able to use my experie to advise a daughter. And ballet class. I do love a tutu.

I think many people grow to accept it, but never fully get over it. It's possible to love your boys like crazy, and still wish you had a chance to experience mother-daughter bond. Hearing "at least they're healthy" doesn't always help. It does get ea though

UrbanBaby Asks...
When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
