14 mos fell and hit her face on her activity table about 15 minutes ago. She was bleeding from her mouth and I was ready to go to the ER when I relized it was just a small cut inside her lower lip she probably did with her teeth. She's no longer bleeding and she's very cheerful at the moment, like nothing happened. I'm letting her watch a little bit of tv because I want to monitor her for a whilebefore I put her to bed. Should I still call the dr? TIA
13 replies [ Reply | Watch | Options ]nope. The great thing about mouths is that they heal SO fast. You will likely see marked improvement in the am. The bad thing about mouths is they bleed like hell and scare the daylights out of you! Just keep an eye on her teeth over the next coupld of da ys/weeks to see if they turn gray. Other than that maybe some Motrin for the pain?
[ Reply | Options ]That is scary the first few times! She is ok, you found the source of the bleeding. Start keeping ice pops in the freezer to give her after these incidents.
