I just got back from vacation and found out the school board at dd's pre-k (a coop) asked the director to leave. She sent out a resignation letter. I thought she was so nice and caring! So sad that she's leaving. I believe she was unwilling to chang the curriculum to a more academic based program and that was mostly what caused the uproar. But she ran the place for 12 yrs. Now I wish I had been able to attend those meetings.
