dd had a bday party at school. circle time iwth games, songs. She baked a cake in the morning. filled candy with bowls. there were balloons. then lunch with the cake and candy for dessert. she was completely satisfied with it. THAT was her perfect bday, b c that's the bday party everyone else she knows had.

  - the school puts it together. we were there. they had games for mommy. games for daddy. it was so much fun. and the kids all loved it. the school even bought her a couple books as presents. i was amazed at how happy she was with this. we were considering h aving our own party for her, but decided not to bc that to her was her perfect bday.

    - School is not a place for cake and balloons and birthday parties for 25 children. You want cupcakes for snack, ok. But what you describes is over the top and has no business in school. Especially for families who can't do these things. Its school. ave a party at home.

I don't know how old your child is, but if this happended at my dcs K class, I would be pissed

School is not a place for cake and balloons and birthday parties for 25 children. You want cupcakes for snack, ok. But what you describes is over the top and has no business in school. Especially for families who can't do these things. Its school. ave a party at home.
