it just occurred to me that my tall 3yo may have grown out of her carseat (roundabout). What's the next one to use, and how to determine when dc has grown out of it?

[ Reply | Options ]My 4.5yo is in a Sunshine Radian 80 and still has tons of room to grow. I also just bought a Graco Nautilus from Walmart.com for our 2nd car and that looks like a great seat for the money. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/allReviews.do?product_id=8112222
[ Reply | Options ]^^ forgot to mention that this has a 5pt harness to 65lbs, then turns into a high back booster to use with seatbelt, then a backless booster. It will be the last seat I need to buy. Very sturdy.
[ Reply | Options ]how tall is your child? Mine is 40 inches (3yo) and appears to be on track to be taller than average. I am so afraid of having to buy another carseat after this one!! your post encourages me though
[ Reply | Options ]She's 42" tall. The Graco Nautilus seat is awesome. The top adjusts to their height. I assure you this would be the only seat you'd need to buy. I was very impressed when it arrived last week. I was nervous buying a seat sight unseen but was assur I could return it if not 100% satisfied.
[ Reply | Options ]i'm looking at it online now. fuinny- "last carseat you'll need to buy" is in the product description!
