  • Making a one pot meal with chicken and rice, right now I'm cooking the chicken in water and then I will put rice in when the chicken is almost finished- should I take the chicken out and measure the water for the rice or just eyeball it?

    • I quickly bwon the chicken (usually with a bit of onion and garlic) then add the rice with the correct amount of water to the pan. I cover it and cook it all at once until the rice is done.
